"Banned by the NBA" Original Symbol

Artist, Lindsay Ponce uses details within her portraits to tell the story of that subject's life. Inspired from her recent "Michael Jordan" painting, Lindsay has painted the famous 1984 Jordan 1s. Michael Jordan wore these shoes during Chicago Bulls games, however the NBA had a strict dress code that only allowed players to wear white shoes. As Michael continued to wear Jordan 1s, NIKE used the phrase "Banned by the NBA" to market these sneakers.
